Catnic will be showcasing its extensive range of steel construction products at Jewson Live 2019 (stand number R7, Hall 9). During the event, which is being held on Thursday 12th December, visitors will be able to find out more about Catnic’s industry leading Thermally Broken Lintel and wider lintel range, as well as its SSR2® standing seam roofing and cladding system.
Jewson Live is the UK’s largest merchant show with over 150 brands exhibiting across the event, offering visitors insight into new products and key topics in the industry. New for this year is the ‘Get Ahead Hub’, which will offer tradespeople advice on everything from dealing with cashflow, to building a website, building regulations and using social media.
Catnic’s experienced team will be on hand to explain its key innovations including the Thermally Broken Lintel (TBL).
The Catnic TBL is the only lintel on the market to provide a complete thermal break between the inner and outer leafs with no brackets required. This means the TBL can provide an outstanding thermal performance of 0.05W/mK or less. This has been verified and the TBL range has achieved British Board of Agrément (BBA) Approval.
Mike Murphy, Sales and Marketing Director at Catnic said: “For five generations, Catnic has pioneered the steel lintel and now manufactures a wide range of lintel products to ensure that construction professionals can find the ideal solution, no matter the project. We ensure that each and every one of our lintels is manufactured to the highest standard and in accordance with all necessary regulations, for guaranteed product quality. Ensuring the energy efficiency of buildings has never been more important, not only in terms of complying with building regulations but also lowering the cost of heating for homeowners, making our TBL a must-see product at the show.”
Visitors to the Catnic stand will also be able to find out more about the innovative standing seam SSR2® Roofing and Cladding system. Designed for the residential and commercial market, SSR2® is lightweight, durable and easy to install and is manufactured from Tata Steel’s Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® pre-finished steel, making it a cost effective alternative to traditional copper and zinc standing seam roof systems. It is suitable for conventional
pitched roofs (as low as 5°) or vertical cladding applications and is available in a range of aesthetic finishes, rated BRE Green Guide A+ and 100% recyclable at end of life.
