Cantic Urban Standing Seam Roof and Cladding Launched at RCI

The RCI Show was an ideal platform for Catnic to launch the new Catnic Urban roofing and cladding system. We were delighted with the level of interest shown in the product, which provides a modern and sustainable solution for conventional pitched roofs in both the residential and commercial market.

The visitors to our stand were extremely interested in the system’s time-saving and practical benefits. Seven times lighter than conventional roof tiles, the Catnic Urban roofing and cladding system is quick and simple to apply across large areas. The system can be installed on a roof with as little as a 5º pitch or utilised for vertical cladding applications.

Durable and high quality, Catnic Urban is manufactured from Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra^® pre-finished steel by Tata Steel. The product meets all relevant legislation, including load bearing for wind speed and weather-tightness. Designed to last in excess of 40 years with BBA Certification.

This is our first entrance into the steel roofing market and it was crucial for us to engage with contractors to demonstrate how to install the product and to talk about the free training courses we now offer. The Catnic Urban system is available through builders’ merchants as well as roofing specialists and as with all other building components within the Catnic portfolio, we can offer a wide range of added value services and technical support.
