Catnic’s Urban training centre aims to equip trade professionals with the tools and skills required to install its new standing seam Roofing and Cladding System and places are already booking up fast for 2018.
Whilst simplicity is at the heart of Catnic’s Urban Roofing and Cladding System, nothing compares to seeing a product first-hand. Product installation demonstrations equip delegates with practical advice and tips and ensure that any assistance in the specification process is both astute and accurate.
The Urban training centre features a fully equipped classroom environment to provide attendees with an introduction to, and theoretical grounding on the pre-coated metal standing seam system. In addition, the centre has specially developed rigs to allow both basic installation training and instruction on a range of situations that could be encountered on site. This includes how to modify the panels to fit roof features such as roof windows and chimneys.
What the attendees had to say:
“It’s a very good product, I didn’t realise how simple it is to put together which is excellent – if it’s easy to install, it’s easy to sell. Especially compared to flat roofing, fibre glass and rubber which has a limited life expectancy and won’t last as long as the Urban system, which can last in excess of 40 years.”
Carwyn Harris, Branch Manager at Caseys Roofing
“You can read any number of text books and technical data sheets, but there’s no substitute to seeing the product first-hand, particularly when recommending to customers. It’s been a great experience and a thoroughly enjoyable day.”
Alan Thomas, Sales Advisor at Burton Roofing
“The two questions I get asked more often than not are, is the roof lightweight and is it low pitch? Therefore as the Urban system goes down to five degrees, it fits the bill on both counts. There is no roof tile on the market that will go down to that level.”
Wayne Martin, Sales Estimator at Wayne Roofing
