Catnic's MD is a hit at this year WWMB Awards 2013

This year's Women Who Mean Business (WWMB) Awards have presented Christine Wilde, Managing Director of building components manufacturer, Catnic, two awards – Best Business Leader and the Woman of the Year 2013. These two awards are recognition of Christine's success within the construction industry.

Taking place on International Women's Day, this year's WWMB Awards, which took place at the prestigious Vale Resort & Spa, was the third awards ceremony for WWMB. The event saw female business leaders from across Wales gather for the chance to be recognised for their incredible and inspirational efforts within business.

Christine Wilde has been with Catnic for 21 years, having worked her way up through the business. In this time, the MD has dealt with many challenges, including prejudice in such a male-orientated sector – her success is down to hard work, determination, a clear strategy and teamwork.
