Catnic has expanded its manufacturing facilities with the introduction of 7 new manufacturing lines at its offices in Sinsheim, Germany. The latest investment will enable the European brand to better service its Northern and Eastern European customer base.
Originally entering the German market in 1991, Catnic has successfully evolved to become Germany's leading brand for plastering profiles, and a leading supplier within Northern Europe. Today it provides a comprehensive range of products to a complex variety of markets including Scandinavia, Switzerland, together with Nordic and Baltic countries.
This most recent investment is part of Catnic’s international development strategy, and follows the hugely successful launch of Catnic France in 2011. With new manufacturing capacity in Europe Catnic will be able to offer its growing customer base a dedicated supply of their top selling products.
This investment enables a collaborative approach between both European businesses, and will enable Catnic to improve its supply chain service for all national merchants, buying groups and DIY chains within the region.
“This is a significant achievement for Catnic within our international market,” commented Christie Wilde, Managing Director at Catnic. “Our main focus is to drive volume growth and further strengthen the Catnic brand across Europe. This new investment demonstrates our commitment and we look forward to further achievements within the market; this is an exciting time our brand Catnic.”
