NEW Standing Seam Roofing and Cladding system

Catnic has launched a new Standing Seam Roofing and Cladding panel into the UK market. The new roofing product, called Urban, is designed to save on site fixing times and to last in excess of 40 years with BBA Certification. The Urban is an innovative and sustainable solution designed for traditional pitched roofs in the residential market.

Catnic's entrance into the roofing market comes as recognition of the importance that roofing plays in the 'fabric first' style of construction and the knowledge that roofing is vital to a building's aesthetic design.

Building to high green standards is a priority for the majority of housebuilders. Therefore, Urban can help meet the specification requirements that are becoming more and more important. The panels are 100% recyclable, with a carbon footprint that is three times lower than some of the leading eco-designed urban roofing products. As well as BRE Green Guide 'A' Rated, the product benefits from raw materials that are developed without using heavy metals and unnecessary fire retardants, and instead high performing alternatives to undesirable organotin stabilisers and phthalate plasticizers are used.

As well as its environmental credentials, the roofing panel is designed with durability in mind and manufactured to meet all relevant legislation, including load bearing for wind speed in accordance with EN 1991-4 and weathertightness in accordance with regulation BS 5534 Parts 1 and 2.

For easy installation, Catnic Urban is also seven times lighter than current roof tiles and it features an integrated eyelet hole fixing strip so that it can be slotted into place effectively.
