Cyden Homes' award-winning development of 74 new homes at Springfield Meadows in Scartho, Grimsby has used Catnic's open back lintels to achieve the required structural performance. Catnic was selected as the lintel supplier for this project because it is a brand Cyden Homes knows and trusts, offering technical support to the housebuilder on the accurate specification and installation of its lintels.
Springfield Meadows is a residential development ranging from two bedroom starter homes to five bedroom detached family homes, offering occupiers a high quality of specification, finish and design.
With building designs based on traditional principles, homes are finished with a blend of red brick and rendered facades, with porticoes over front doors and bay windows to some upper levels. Catnic lintels are ideal for the creation of such architectural details, enabling the construction of windows, doors, bays and arches that maintain the structural integrity of buildings while at the same time supporting the varying design requirements of each individual project.
The Grimsby branch of Travis Perkins supplied Catnic lintels to the Springfield Meadows site. Catnic provides a dedicated level of customer support to Travis Perkins and Cyden Homes, which includes a technical advisory service to suit any last minute construction programme changes.
