September events spotlight: SSR2® and Thermally broken lintels

D2636-208

This September, Catnic will be returning to the ecoSHOWCASE in Manchester on the 18th September to exhibit its SSR2® Roofing and Cladding System and Thermally Broken Lintel range. Trade exhibitions are an ideal opportunity for visitors to gain first-hand experience of Catnic products, as well as ask our expert team any questions they may have about the full Catnic portfolio.

Catnic’s SSR2®  Roofing and Cladding System is manufactured from Tata Steel’s Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra® pre-finished steel, offering a cost-effective alternative to materials such as zinc and aluminium. The system is also seven times lighter than traditional clay or slate equivalents and can be used for pitched roofs as low as 5°. SSR2®  is also rated ‘A+’ within the BRE Green Guide and BBA approved.

Available in eight colours, with a Galvalloy® metallic coating for exceptional corrosion resistance and cut edge protection, the system offers a modern aesthetic. Achieve a striking visual impact with Terracotta or Patina colourways or blend into the surroundings with the more tonal matt colours such as Winter Sky and Green Grey.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to receive information on the free SSR2® training courses held at Catnic’s training centre in Caerphilly, aimed at providing a practical overview of the system and guidance on all stages of the installation process.

Catnic’s Thermally Broken Lintel (TBL) range will also be a main feature at the event. The TBL range offers the most thermally efficient steel lintel solution on the market and delivers the thermal performance of two separate lintels, reducing heat loss through window head details by a significant 96%.

The range offers a practical solution to meet both Building Regulations and a ‘fabric first’ approach to building design. It covers all building types from small domestic dwellings to large apartment buildings, including concrete floor loads. And because the range also provides the same safe working loads as the rest of the Catnic lintel range, customers can easily convert from traditional lintels to TBL without concerns about structural stability.

ecoSHOWCASE provides an opportunity for visitors to meet experts and suppliers of cutting edge, sustainable building products and solutions. To find out more about the Manchester event and to register to attend, please visit https://www.ecoshowcase.co.uk
