We have an fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager within our Northern Team.

This is an exciting time for our business and we are looking to further strengthen our position in the construction industry in line with the recent growth of the sector in the UK. We have a vacancy for an experienced Area Sales Manager selling to merchants, distributors, developers, contractors and specifiers to maximise the company’s potential in the assigned territories. This is a key role for developing and driving sales forward on all product ranges across a wide market spectrum within this fast moving successful customer focused business. The main purpose of the role will be to maximise the commercial objectives of the business in designated market sectors and seek out profitable new business opportunities            

This position is home based with quarterly visits to our main offices at Catnic, based in Caerphilly, South Wales. It is essential that candidates live within their designated regions. You will be expected to be customer facing on a daily basis within your area so considerable travel is required as expected within a role of this type.

We would encourage candidates to apply who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a drive for results and a competitive approach to sales. You will have experience of sales within either the construction or manufacturing industry and have the ability to both network and engage at senior levels in order to develop your customer base and service existing clients of the business.

Ideally educated to degree level, you will be expected to develop a wide-ranging knowledge of the products and market applications. An existing technical knowledge of products within the construction industry would be a clear advantage when advising and developing your customer base. A full UK driving license is essential.
